Metro Detroit Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Across the state of Michigan, gas prices have fallen over the last month and are down eights cents to $3.55 a gallon. For diesel customers, prices are also down from a month ago – 10 cents to $4.35. These trends are in line with national ones, where gas prices are down 14 cents a gallon from last month. 

In Metro Detroit, prices have seen a big change and are down 20 cents from this time last month. The current price of $3.51 a gallon is 70 cents cheaper than this time last year, and is down sharply from the high of $5.30 that was seen in June 2022.
