Consumers have faced steep gas prices throughout the past year, as demand continues to rebound in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and as a result of sanctions on Russian imports while the war in Ukraine continues to rage. With inflation continuing to cool, gas prices nationally are holding steady, with the current average at $3.880, a less than one cent increase from a month ago.
